23.03.2006: The EUROHARP Final Scientific Seminar took place 14-15 March 2006 at Biri in Norway. The Seminar represented a challenging platform for exchange of experiences and visions for the future work on quantification and management of nutrient related water issues between EUROHARP project partners and project external experts. The importance of maintaining a continuous dialogue between decision-makers, water managers and researchers during modelling exercise became a leitmotiv throughout the Seminar, showing that integration from day one of a project is paramount to success.

EUROHARP Final Scientific Seminar in March 2006

11.01.2006: The final EUROHARP Scientific Seminar will take place 14-15 March 2006 in Norway, gathering both EUROHARP project partners and invited key persons at different international environmental levels. The Seminar will provide scientists and managers with the opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge about the important issues of diffuse nutrient losses in a wide audience with EUROHARP results as a platform for the deliberations.

The EUROHARP Toolbox - a Tool towards Bridging the Gap between Scientists and Managers in Policy Instrument Implementation

18.10.2005: The EUROHARP Toolbox- assessment meeting was held in Bari, Italy 12 October 2005. Dr Giovanni Bidoglio (EC-JRC Ispra), and Dr Juha Kämari (SYKE), project co-ordinator of the finished BMW project about benchmarking of models, presented their main suggestions for Toolbox improvements, based on a prior assessment of the EUROHARP Toolbox, followed by a dialogue between the two Experts and EUROHARP project participants.
